Bank
has issued a notice that Nepal Rastra Bank (Central bank of Nepal) has
recently come out with an additional provision restricting Organizations from opening and maintaining Saving Account.
The
Section no. 3 (5) of Nepal Rastra Bank Unified Derective No. 16/066
issued by Nepal Rastra Bank states that Savings Account can only be
opened by Natural Person. As per the Directive the accounts which have
already been opened in the past in the name of an Organization or Institution must be immediately closed.
In order to comply with the above Directive, we have converted the saving accounts maintained into Current accounts.
