South India's Daily Wagers need our help

In South India, among those most affected by the pandemic are the daily wagers. They have lost their jobs and are facing immense difficulty in surviving without transportation, food and medicines during the current lockdown. Most daily wagers make only $8 per day when they are working.

Ayang Rinpoche is initiating a charity program to distribute food to these poorest families. In this way, the monastery and Drikung Charitable Society can make sure the daily wagers receive necessities directly into their hands.

If you, or any of Rinpoche's students and their friends and families, would like to join in this food distribution initiative, you are welcome to donate either through the world-wide Amitabha Foundations or directly to the monastery's account. They would appreciate receiving the funds by May 3.

Here is a link to make your US tax-deductible offering online through the Amitabha Foundation US. You may make a one-time or recurring gift of any amount, or at one of the suggested levels:
$24 for 3 day's wages
$56 for one week's wages
$240 for one month's wages

Rinpoche welcomes you to include names for dedication. Please see the field in the payment link to include your names.

May all beings benefit by our generosity!

Mantra Offering from Sangye Chodron (Jane Ketchum)

Dear Bodhivastu Sangha, Community Members and Friends,

Bodhivastu Sangha Members sometimes come out of hiding seemingly from nowhere and step up with a joyful contribution they offer from their hearts with great talent and dedication. Here is a very special Mantra offering from Sangye Chodron (Jane Ketchum) from her secluded hermitage in the state most likely to secede, (Vermont of course).

Please play Parnashawari's mantra (The 20th Tara who protects from contagious diseases) and try to make it your daily morning practice. The Mother never fails her children. See the video and use the attached Terma prayer from Dudjom Lingpa.  The need for empowerment and formal authorization for this practice has been waived due to current world circumstances.

Once again, if you want to be on a special list for an upcoming online series of related practices, please send your email address to us at: info@bodhivastu.org and you will be notified as a result.

Please note that there are still some shares of blessed substances from the recent Ta Chag Khyung Sum drupcho available.

You can still contribute and have some sent to you if you confirm by donation within this week as items are still being packed for one mass send out. See:

Please note that there are no more Lava Malas and no Golden Garuda amulets left.  Please do not send funds for these items.

Wishing you excellent health, good fortune and Enlightenment while on your retreat.
