Please note that the venue for Ayang Rinpoche's upcoming Phowa Course in San Jose has been changed.
The course will begin the evening of September 9 with a public talk,
"Short Introduction to Phowa (Transference of Consciousness at the
moment of death)". This talk will be held at the San Jose Scottish Rite
Center, 2455 Masonic Drive, San Jose, CA 95125. The remainder of the
Phowa Course (September 10-18) will be held next door at the San Jose
Masonic Center, 2500 Masonic Drive, San Jose, CA 95125, beginning with
the Amitabha Empowerment at 6 PM September 10. Rinpoche urges everyone
to attend the full course, including the tsok offering on the last day,
Sunday, September 18. Download the daily schedule here.
Please note that there are many sessions that are open to the public,
and we encourage all of you in the area to attend the Amitabha
Empowerment, the Oral Transmission Blessings for Nyingma and Drikung
Phowas, Milarepa tsok offering prayer, and the Vajrasattva and Amitabha
meditation teachings during the week, if you cannot attend the full
Phowa Course.
